JetComp #8516 – 4.8mil Silver Retort/Liqui-Pac Film

JetComp #8516 silver retort Liqui-Pac film is a 4.8mil retort/Liqui-Pac film designed for producing retort and aseptic spouted pouches, and it suits any liquid packaging requirement, stick pack or gourmet coffee bag application. The high-gloss multi-layer construction of heat-sealable, FDA-compliant food-grade HDPE film with an aluminum foil barrier layer and a clear OPP outer layer gives the film the bright aluminum look on the outside.

The film is top coated with JetComp’s proprietary inkjet-receptive coating for trouble-free printing on any UV, eco-solvent or latex printer. Once printed, use it flat as a proof or assemble it into a functional package with conventional heat-sealing equipment. For thicker constructions, add a layer of JetComp #8200 clear or #8201 matte pressure-sensitive PET over-laminating film. For a matte finish without adding thickness, use Krylon matte spray.
