The Serendipity Blackmagic product is a color-managed proofing RIP built for commercial print, packaging, and publishing environments that need press-accurate color every time. It reads native CTP RIP data straight from your platesetter workflow and automatically assembles press-ready proofs, verified against your press’s own ICC profile rather than a generic standard, so every proof matches what comes off the press.

Color Management

• True 16-bit processing with full ICC v4.2 compliance for consistent, high-fidelity color.
• Real Dot Technology simulates actual press dots for accurate halftone proofing.
• Supports CMYK, RGB, and multicolor workflows with full spot color integration.

Press RIP Integration

• Connects directly to platesetter RIPs, interpreting native file formats and imposition data.
• Virtual Press Management handles plate assembly, imposition, and job tracking.
• Automated proofing via RIPMonitor polling and Job Genie, which recognizes file names and groups plates into complete, proof-ready jobs.

Color Verification & Spot Matching

• Certify color accuracy with Calcheck charts and ΔE, ΔH, and ΔCh tolerance checks against CGATS data or your press’s own ICC profile.
• Truespot Optimization iteratively fine-tunes spot colors to match press output on your proofing media.
• Lab (multi) spot colors define ink values across the full 0-100% tint range for realistic on-screen and printed results.

Soft Proofing (Option)

• Color-accurate, full-resolution on-screen previews of press-matched proofs.
• Dedicated viewing tools for spreads, signatures, and ink channels, plus an Ink Key Viewer.
• Display and monitor calibration keep the viewing environment trustworthy.
