People involved in color management know how important it is to view proofs, prints, and originals under controlled lighting — typically a viewing booth set to D50 (5000K). Attach a RHEM Light Indicator patch to your documents, and anyone reviewing color can see at a glance whether the lighting is correct.

How It Works

The RHEM Light Indicator (formerly Item No. 7065R) uses two magenta metameric colorants that only match under a standard 5,000K light source. Under correct D50 lighting, the patch appears as a single solid magenta color. Under incorrect lighting, the two colorants separate into visibly different stripes — an immediate signal that the viewing conditions are off.

• D50 Standard: Calibrated for 5,000K daylight, the color management industry standard for viewing proofs and originals.
• Peel-and-Stick: Non-permanent adhesive patches attach to the border of color proofs, color copies, reproductions, or transparency sleeves.
