gti Graphiclite Soft-View – SOFV-1xi

The GTI Soft-View SOFV-1xi is a D50 viewing system for soft-proofing workflows. Placed next to your monitor, it lets you adjust the intensity of the light on a print to match the screen, which removes the large brightness gap between a standard D50 booth and a color display.

Why match print and monitor brightness?

A print under normal booth lighting is much brighter than a display, and that makes proof-to-screen comparisons unreliable. Dimming the viewer to match the monitor makes soft proof comparisons more repeatable.
