HP Vivid Photo Inks — Pigment-based HP Vivid Photo Inks in a six-ink system (cyan, magenta, yellow, matte black, photo black, and chromatic red). HP rates the prints as water- and fade-resistant for indoor and outdoor use.

High-Definition Printheads — HP Pixel Control for smooth gradients and dual-drop technology, with no light inks, at up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi.

Print Speeds — Maximum speeds: 866 ft²/hr Fast-Economode on plain media, 268 ft²/hr Normal on coated media, 104 ft²/hr Best on glossy media.

PostScript and Connectivity — Adobe PostScript 3, PDF 1.7, TIFF, JPEG, CALS G4, HP-GL/2, and HP-RTL. Gigabit Ethernet and Hi-Speed USB for direct printing from a flash drive, with a 500 GB self-encrypting hard disk and 128 GB virtual memory.
