inkWIZE AutoCurves applies tonal value adjustments to any ink, CMYK or individual spot colors, in your PDF workflow quickly and easily.
AutoCurves works with pressSIGN® to produce accurate color on all types of printing devices, including digital, litho, screen, flexo and gravure.
How AutoCurves works with pressSIGN
Setup is a one-click operation: choose AutoSetup and AutoCurves creates everything for you. Then:
- Print and measure the pressSIGN color bar.
- Choose the type of curve adjustment: traditional TVI, NPDC or 4CX.
- Browse to the AutoCurves hot folder workflow you just created and save the tonal adjustment file.
From then on, drop a PDF into the input hot folder and AutoCurves applies the tonal adjustments immediately. To update an existing adjustment, select the tonal file in pressSIGN and pressSIGN makes the update.
About 4CX
4CX produces grey balance by reading a short pressSIGN color bar, or a full-width color bar from a litho press, so you can match the target print condition and get consistent prints.
