JetComp #8501 1mil Clear Polypropylene

JetComp #8501 1mil clear polypropylene film is the thinnest film JetComp offers. It has excellent flexibility but is slightly more rigid than typical polyethylene, making it a fit for bread bags, produce bags, candy bags and pouches. It is a high-gloss, heat-sealable, FDA-compliant food-grade clear polypropylene (OPP) film top coated with JetComp’s proprietary inkjet-receptive coating.

The film is mounted on a strippable liner for trouble-free transport and printing on any UV, eco-solvent or latex printer. Once printed, use it flat as a proof, or peel it from the liner and assemble it with double-sided tape or conventional heat-sealing equipment. For thicker constructions, add a layer of JetComp #8200 clear or #8201 matte pressure-sensitive PET over-laminating film. For a matte finish, use Krylon matte spray.
