Pointcarre ProDesign brings print, knit and weave design together in one license, so a single studio can design for rotary and digital printing, knitting and weaving. It runs natively on Mac and Windows.
Print design
Automate the most common tasks required to print a design. The tonal separation engine detects the best colors, you can add, remove or change them, and print proofs show immediately. Limit pixel spread, control the number of shades and split channels in 2 or 3 to match rotary screen printing.
Knit design
Work in repeat mode on a virtual grid sized to your gauge, with stitch libraries, texture filters and the Pantone Textile library for recoloring, plus a technical card for production.
Weave design
Use a library of 4,000 weaves, drag and drop weaves onto a design, manage multiple weaves, create colorways and simulate fabric with any kind of yarn.
