Simulation and Proofing Package

The Simulation and Proofing Package is ColorGATE’s proofing solution for Core Productionserver. It takes over from Proofgate and is aimed at making proofing easier, more accurate and more integrated into production, for both internal reviews and client approvals. It requires Core Productionserver M as its base.

What is included

• Proof Standard Digital Module: paper proofs that simulate the final print result without stopping production, based on ISO 12647-7 and FOGRA 39 standards, with support for common file formats
• Device Link Profiler Module: a step-by-step wizard for building DeviceLink profiles that optimize color conversion between source and target color spaces to minimize Delta E
• 1-Bit-TIFF Input Module: processes 1-bit TIFF files for halftone and form proofs, for packaging and other pre-press workflows

Version 26 additions

Version 26 improves Epson support, including automatic printing and measuring of control wedges and unattended generation of a proof or quality report next to the job. It also adds DYMO LabelWriter 550 support for printing proof or quality labels directly from Productionserver.
