Core Productionserver

Core Productionserver RIP software is ColorGATE’s current RIP family for digital print production, in three sizes: S, M and L. It replaces the former Flex-Line, Productionserver Light and manufacturer-specific editions, and covers flatbed, roll, superwide and hybrid printers for large format, DTF and screen printing work.

Choose your edition

• Core Productionserver S is for beginners and small shops running a single printer, such as a screen printer adding DTF, a photographer printing in-house or a copy shop with one large format printer. It includes 1 RIP process and 5 hotfolders.
• Core Productionserver M is for growing shops and agencies running multiple printers, including flatbed and larger roll printers. It includes 2 RIP processes and 20 hotfolders.
• Core Productionserver L is for high-volume service providers running up to 4 printers, including superwide or hybrid printers, mixed job requirements and higher automation. It includes 4 RIP processes and 40 hotfolders.

• Advanced Cutmarks, Color Correction Tools, MIM-Administration, Multi-Color ICC Engine, RIP while Print, Visual Scaling and White Ink Support
• Default options: Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE), Color Replacement, Photo FineArt Module, Tiling and Media Device Synchronization

Added in M and L

Linearization Assistant, Container, Cost Calculation, Variable Tiling, Print and Cut, Trim Nesting, Color Atlas, Job Backup, Channel Redirection and Quality Assurance modules.

L only: Spectral Spot, Out of Gamut, Color Server, JDF Interface, Access Control, Express Profiler, Profiler and TVI Calibration modules.

Output Management Sets and drivers

• S: one Cat-0 OMS included, one additional Cat-1 OMS optional, Cat-0 measurement driver included, no cutting drivers
• M: one Cat-0/Cat-1 OMS included, up to 4 additional OMS (optional Ink Saver), Cat-0 measurement and cutting drivers included
• L: one Cat-0/1/2/3 OMS included, up to 4 additional OMS (optional Ink Saver), measurement and cutting drivers as in M

Optional packages for M and L

• Profiler Suite for building, refining and managing ICC profiles, including multicolor workflows
• Simulation and Proofing Package for soft proofing and print simulation
• Screen Package for film creation, computer-to-screen output and proofing in one setup

Version 26

Version 26 lets large multipage PDFs be split and processed by several RIP processes at once, adds Adobe PDF Print Engine 7.1, and adds drivers for the Epson SC-F9500, SC-P7300 and SC-P9300, Fujifilm Acuity Triton, Mimaki, Mutoh and swissQprint models. For film output, see Filmgate.
