Spectro LFP qb

The Barbieri Spectro LFP qb is an automated spectrophotometer that measures both reflective and transparent media, built for large-format, flatbed and industrial print production. Load a chart, start the measurement and walk away, whether you are building an ICC profile, linearizing a printer or checking a production sample.

Key features

• Reflection and transmission: automated measurement in both modes, with 45°/0° reflection and d/0 transmission geometry.
• ISO 13655 measurement conditions: M0, M1, M2 and M3 (M3 in reflection only). M1 follows ISO 13655-2017 and gives reliable readings on substrates with optical brighteners.
• Three apertures: 2, 6 and 8 mm, selected automatically to suit patch size and surface structure.
• Thick and heavy media: measures samples up to 20 mm thick (transmission is recommended up to about 3 mm).
• Detachable spectral unit: remove it for wireless spot measurements on heavy or fixed objects.
• Camera-supported sensing unit: automatic chart positioning (included in every edition except Digital Press).
• Fluorescent inks: measures fluorescent inks as well as standard process colors.
• Six automated modes: FAST, UP DOWN and CONTACTLESS, each in reflection and transmission.
• Connectivity: Ethernet and USB.

Fine art and photo papers, vinyl and mesh, textiles, acrylic and backlit media, corrugated board, laminates, ceramics and glass.

Software

The free Barbieri Gateway software for Windows and Mac drives the instrument and exports data to more than 30 RIP, profiling and color management packages. • Textile Edition: includes the electrostatic textile sample holder with frame, a sticky mat sample holder and the textile activation.
