Call for Price

Xitron Navigator GPS Workflow v9 is the workflow edition of Navigator, sold as Navigator GPS Workflow & RIP. It combines the Navigator Harlequin RIP with job management, client/server control, previews and automation, so operators can manage prepress work from any Mac or PC on the network.

What GPS adds to the RIP

  • Client access: two concurrent clients included, with up to eight more available (maximum of 10).
  • Multiple RIPs: manage up to four RIPs from one operator interface.
  • Job tracking, archiving and search by ticket number, customer, date or other fields.
  • Previews: zoom up to 16,000% with screen angle and dot percentage measurement, separation toggling and trap checks, without stopping output.
  • Workflow definitions (job tickets) for specific customers or job types, with pauses and inspection checkpoints.
  • Prepress control: page setup control at workstations and scriptable hot folders for custom file handling.
  • PDF-based vector trapping, which Xitron presents as an improvement over in-RIP trapping. See IntelliTrap.

Options

GPS options include ink remapping, PDF tools (PDF creation and stabilization, preflight, PDF editing on the client, and certified PDF using the Enfocus library), Impostrip Pro Offset imposition, CIP3 ink key data, KeySetter Lite and Pro ink key presetting, the PDF Raster plug-in, vDot proofing plug-ins and Inkjet Direct. Availability depends on the edition, so confirm with us before ordering.

Requirements

Windows 11 Pro is required for the RIP and server; clients can be any Mac or PC. See Xitron’s Navigator system requirements. If you only need the RIP, see Navigator RIP v14.

Pricing is by quote. Please contact us with your output device and current RIP and we will send a quote.

See the Xitron brand page or browse RIPs.
