pressSIGN 12 Professional is a G7® Certified System that measures, controls, monitors and evaluates the color printing process for litho, flexo, gravure, screen and digital.

It includes a complete set of analysis tools to improve press and operator performance and to identify issues of both quality and waste.

Control the press

• Color-coded scoring against fully customizable print targets, for spot colors, CMYK and overall.
• Dynamic Density Adjustment (DDA) predicts the best possible density for the selected target and the actual paper, ink and chemistry in use.
• Dryback compensation for spot and process colors, taking density variation into account.
• Auto target adjustment for substrate, so you do not need a separate press target for each substrate.
• Tonal curves created and updated with TVI (dot gain), 4CX (grey balance) or Neutral Print Density.
• International targets including all ISO/PAS 15339 targets, with automatic white point compensation.

Spot colors and tints

• PANTONE™ libraries for up to 16-color printing, plus custom spot libraries.
• Control spot tints with Visual Linear Target (VLT) technology, or use previously printed tints as your target.
• Extended Gamut for lower-cost multi-color printing.
• Ink substitution lets the same color bar serve spot or process colors; use any color bar.

Monitor and report

• Dynamic Reports in a web browser: compare operators and campaigns, rank performance and follow trends.
• Trend analysis of press, operator and shift performance and wastage, for single or multiple jobs.
• Monitor all presses and printing devices from the production office.
• Soft proof at the press or in the office to see the effect of paper color and actual press measurements.
• Check consistency across the press and against the OK sheet.

Connect and automate

• Connects to all scanning spectrophotometers and many third-party closed-loop systems.
• Templates reduce set-up time.
• AutoMode creates jobs automatically from press measurement files with no operator intervention.
