pressSIGN 12 Digital

pressSIGN 12 Digital is the low-cost edition of pressSIGN print quality software. Measure a printed sheet, compare it against the target of your choice, and adjust the curves in your digital RIP when needed.

Create print standards from internationally recognized targets or your own custom settings. Lock the standard and export the target to your print supplier, then measure a printed sheet to check quality against that standard.

Main features

• Color-coded scoring: every measurement is scored against the target with a clear overall result.
• International targets: ISO 12647-2, -3, -4, -6 and -7, GRACoL, Japan Color, ISO 15339 and ISO 15311, with fully customizable tolerances and scoring.
• Dryback compensation: accounts for wet ink or finishing processes so the job matches.
• Spot colors: built-in PANTONE™ libraries, or custom libraries with up to 12 spot colors in a job.
• SCCA: adjusts targets to match visually on any color substrate.
• RIP curves: create curves for digital RIPs and color servers such as Caldera, EFI, Onyx and ZePra using TVI, 4CX or GRACoL G7.
• Instrument support: works with spectrophotometers from X-Rite, Techkon, Barbieri, Konica Minolta and Color Sentinel.

Why brands choose pressSIGN

Many large brands ask their suppliers to use pressSIGN. A simple routine works well: the supplier measures the pressSIGN color bar every ten minutes during the run, marks up the sheets, and keeps them in the job bag for up to 3 months. The brand can then check conformity with pressSIGN 12 Digital. For most jobs the pressSIGN production report is enough to certify how the job was printed.

Licensing

Choose a perpetual license (includes 1 year of software maintenance) or an Open-GPM subscription for 1 or 3 years. Upgrading from an earlier version? See pressSIGN 12 Digital – upgrade.
